This document highlights major features and concepts, and where they
are in the pipeline. This document may change frequently as situations
develop and demands evolve.
Active development, all in
progress:
- Bots in multiplayer
- Lairworld/Spores improvements, for new players
- Health/magic pickups
- New (5th) magic type
- Gameplay/dragon/animation improvements
- Audio mix improvements
Planned or being considered:
- More complete spectator cam
- More complete controller support
- Mac support
- UI/UX improvements
- Sandbox mode (freeplay plus spawning/debug features)
- More cosmetics, magic types, perks, and abilities
- More maps, map variants
- Environment, water, and sky improvements
- PvE game mode
- Credits
At this point, the game would be considered complete and
transition out of Early Access.
Bonus
These are things that may be just ideas, may be prototyped, and maybe
even tested or designed, but are not guaranteed, as everything above
this point in the top two categories are more important. This all
depends on player demand.
- Stamina/Posture meter
- “Mist” environment feature
- Gestures/social sounds
- “Extras”; much like Rockstar cheats
- Photo mode (unsure if related to spectator)
- Some form of “New Game Plus”, depends on playerbase/demand
- Matchmaking/Dedicated server, when multiplayer matures
- Split screen/Remote play
